Our commitment
We are committed to protecting the personal information of our donors. Our donors' privacy is of paramount concern to us because we appreciate and value our supporters. We would like to explain to you our approach to the privacy of your information.
Why we collect information
The Cure Cancer Australia Foundation relies on financial support from the public to provide funding for cancer research. We do not receive any government funding therefore we must rely on the generosity of the public. The Foundation uses the information we collect about our donors to provide updates on the work we do, such as newsletters or appeals. When you receive these communications we of course hope that you will choose to continue to support our work in cancer research, however you may decide not to support us or, to wait until some point in the future. The choice is yours and we will respect your wishes.
How we collect information
Cure Cancer Australia Foundation collects information in many different ways. We have information on our database concerning each person who has generously donated to us.
The information we collect comes from sources such as donation envelopes, appeal responses and from those who send in a donation with their personal details.
How we manage your information
The sole purpose of maintaining donor information is so that we can communicate with our donors. Cure Cancer Australia Foundation does not rent out, sell or otherwise share its donor information with any other organisations under any circumstances.
